I moved in when it was Woodlawn Manor and thought it would be my dream apartment. When I was shown the apartment I was told that the problems would be cleaned and repaired when I moved in. They weren't. I moved in and the bathroom and kitchen floors were nasty. You could not walk on them without shoes. The blinds on the french doors where broken. The carpet was not clean and there were roaches everywhere. Repairs were never done. I lived for about 4 or 5 months without hot water. A group of neighbors began a law suite against the complex because of that. The apartment manager was rude and never wanted to hear your complaints. The hot water was off during the winter and I was completing an internship at a school, so I always got up and took cold baths. I lived with my brother, my boyfriend and his daughter and none of us had hotwater. The neighborhood was loud at night and you always hear fights and loud music. The last time I called the police they never came. I felt unsafe to go out at night. Don't move over there it is horrible. Every since that apartment I always make sure that there is hot water in the apartment.Parking is horrible also. If you park on the street your car will get hit. If you park in the lot you will have to walk forever in the dark to get there.
