Shannon Oaks

 

I remember years ago when I lived in Plantation Apts.

and I would drive by, back then Woodlawn Manor, and think how nice and cozy it looked there.

The trees provided plenty of shade, the French doors were very attractive, they had a nice pool, all that good stuff that would make you want to move to those apts....

Well, now let me tell you.....

It is the "ghetto"! There is no longer a pool, the entire complex is worn down and looks God Awful! There is always trash everywhere.

They don't spray for roaches like they say they do and I know that for sure!! The water doesn't get hot, but they continue to say that they are working on it.

And the worst thing about this "ghetto" is that there is always people hanging outside disturbing the peace....disturbing your life! They don't work, they just hang all around the front of the complex and play loud music out of their cars, you can literally see them smoking blunts (marijuana).

They have no respect for the people that live there and I have also seen them break windows out of empty apts.

This is the most disgusting thing!! Really it's damn near the whole neighborhood.

Plantation looks better than Shannon Oaks, but they have the same problems.

People are moving out of the lovely town houses next to Shannon Oaks.

This use to be a nice neighborhood!!! I have no problem with families who have to be on Section 8 in order for them to have a place to live...but Damn it just because you are on Section 8 does not mean you have to ruin everything around you!! Like a VIRUS!!!!!! The manager does nothing about all of this noise and the things that go around here.

I know that she has to know about it because she lives here in the same complex and the non-sense is all around her! But, believe me....

I don't even have to tell you that it would not be a good idea for you to live here because as soon as you drive by you will be turned off!! The post office needs to relocate too!!!
