When I first moved in to the Frog Ponds, the property was really nice, the staff seemed friendly, and the rent was reasonable. Within 18 months, the type of people allowed to move in to the apartments got worse and worse. Between the two known stabbings and several occasions where I heard gunfire, I got out as soon as possible. Even though the management knew about the guns being "played with" at the pool, they did nothing to investigate, and the local police were afraid to come to the apartments after dark.
Noise is always a problem--people sit in their cars with loud bass, screaming at each other in the parking lot. The management doesn't do anything about loud people, even though the lease explicitly says noise will not be tolerated and fines will be given.
If the management didn't let students who were kicked out of the dorms and people who made too much money to stay in the town equivalent of New Orleans Projects live there, they would still be nice apartments.
These apartments are not safe, and definitely not worth the price.
