No matter what anyone says the place is an absolute mess!!! It is very unorganized and I can't stand management, its like dealing with children he said she said and it's all my fault. From day one it's been problems with mice(which I saw 6 in my apartment in two weeks), pets around the area, noise, disrespect from my neighbors. If your looking for a high priced dorm to live in fill out an application at the can. I feel like I'm in highschool all over again dealing with my neighbors and management. People will gossip and try to get in your business. I'm a grown woman and have no desire to have to worry about young immature ADULTS trying to get in my personal life and these are strangers. I don't know these people. I've had on several occasions different people I don't know approach me about personal issues about my relationship, which gave me and my partner a good laugh, mind you these were personal things that they had no business asking me. The problems with the cleanliness of the place it's like dust builds up every day because the windows don't open and there isn't enough light it's to confined. I can't stand it. There are some people who know how to block that stuff out and not care, good for you. I think the concept of the american can is great it has potential, but any thought of that has blown away after living here. My apartment in bucktown was ten times better run and it was definitely not as nice, but I'd take that any day over living in the can.
