my mom did me a 'favor' and rented a unit for me without my knowledge and without really doing any research of her own. The carpet was dirty when I moved in. I had somekind of trap door underneath my carpet by the bathroom because I could feel the secret switch to open it when I walked to the john. The ceiling fan fell out of the ceiling in the bedroom. The rent was stupid high. Management would send out memos that contained profanity about god knows what. We had a pool, clubhouse, and workout room that they try to charge you to use. The security guards stole more then the hoodlems. pest control was more worried about what you had then sparying,as a matter of fact- he had a tube of something he just waved in the air and left ( I guess it was some state of the art, magic pest killer.) if you smoke crack, you would love this place. wait no you won't- I forgot one of the many murders was nino brown's little cousin tino. The walls are thin, so if your neighbors make any noise you can hear, and mine ranged from welfare queens to two homsexual dudes upstairs that loved to fight- at 2:45 in the morning. there was junk on the grass that was not picked up for months. Crackheads were constantly trying to bootleg power, so every 2 weeks we had complex wide blackouts. Some lady also had a secret crush on me, how do I know' because she was sweet enough to wake me up every morning at 7:30 by blowing her horn for 15 minutes- I guess my sweet papoo didn't know I worked evenings. Speaking of work, I still think I was the only person who had a job. In retrospect, the pink weed bags that were on the ground by the thousands did look pretty. One day some one robbed the laundry room, managements reaction' Close all laundry rooms for 2 weeks, what leadership! Capt. kirk would be proud. The unit upstairs was robbed twice during my stay, across the hall once, and next door THREE TIMES!! Oh yeah, I got robbed too. I really could go on but I'm starting to cry. Katrina was a gift for destoying that place, it also got struck by lightning and burned down, I guess God couldn't take his people suffering anymore.

What building were you living in? Although this review was funny as hell, I never knew of any of these incidents (robberies, murder, or blackouts) and I lived in this complex for two years. True, maintenance and management took their time and the pest control was nonexistent but my experience in chenault creek was not that bad. Hopefully with the rebuilding will come new management and positive changes. You should really write a book about your experiences!!!!!!
