It floods. The security guards are plump with attitude. They nickel and dime you. The pool is dirty, the 1 of 3 they advertise that is actually open. I lived there for 2 years and the other two never were open. Laundry is 1.50 a load to wash/dry. Everybody I know thats lived there has had their car hit in the parking lot. My apartments floor was sloped. You had to walk uphill to go to the kitchen. The walking levee is full of dog ----. I watched a pimp smack his hoe there once. It sucked. If you read this and still move in, your stupid and belong there. They are buying their time till the next hurricane will destroy them and they can collect insurance. Its the slums.

I lived there and had two cars which got hit a total of three times. I also had one car flood. You need great comprehensive insurance, you will need it. My god, the people are they are starting to move in there are very very questionable. Funny how none of the management lives on site, but its always good enough for the rest of us...

FYI - New Orleans is below sea level; it floods in New Orleans due to the pumping stations not being able to pump the water fast enough. Be prepared; park on high ground. I worked at Forest Isle for years and was impressed that they had a proactive plan in place for when it did flood. They post notices, get a bull horn and notify people to move their vehicles, and get the employees out knocking on doors to notify residents. I don't know of any other businesses that go "above and beyond" during crisis times. Forest Isle does a good job.
