I enjoyed staying in Gaslight until about a year ago. Slowly it was becoming an upscale "housing project". Drug activity, loud parties w/ young thugs hanging out from outside the complex became a problem. The neighbors and children would throw trash everywhere but in the garbage. It was a disgrace of all the trash that was in people's yards. I'm also highly disappointed in management for not contacting the tenants after hurricane Katrina and still have not contacted us. I've been back to the complex at least 4 times and no efforts have been made to begin the clean-up process. It's obvious it cares nothing about its tenants and only wanted a check from us. They took the time to put signs up stating we needed to vacate our apt. to receive our deposit but they can't take the time to return the messages you leave with their answering service. I've left several messages with my forwarding address and have heard nothing from them. Hopefully, when my attorney contacts them, they'll respond.

if you did not recieve you depoist then you need to contact the coporate office. how dare you make a statement regarding the staff at the rental office. do you even know where the staff is. they are probably trying to seek employment and take care of their business. the office did what they could do when they were there. now, they have their own family to take care of. i don't see you trying to make sure any of them are alright in order to give you your depoist. you probably was one that never paid on time. these apartment did what they had to do. it was inexpensive and nice that is why you stayed. the manager made sure the mainteance clean the grounds and they made sure you work order was done. you are just mad because you don't know how to look the information up. next time try contacting one of you neighbor friends to see if they know how to get into contact with the main office.
