It's the Algiers Ghetto From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/8/2006 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006   This is what I'm hearing now, and I wish I had never moved here. First off, no hot water pressure. This is due to the fact that the management company Shadowlake Management has never maintained the pipes. Next, there is no heat and it's 60 degrees in my apartment. No hope of getting heat any time soon according to the manager Brittney. There was damage from Katrina never repaired and there are now rats and squirrels in my ceiling who have entered through rotten wood. I think the management company is bankrupt and scrambling to cover this. The office staff is overwhelmed and are ignorant and rude, undoubtedly another reflection of the fact that the president of this company is pocketing the cash.
