It is quiet sometimes but other times you can hear people's car sterio system blasting in the middle of the night. They have a rodent problem too. And maintence is a problem. I started renting in Sept of 2008 and right before Thanksgiving we had a leak in the roof of our living room, well they called out a plumber and he made a huge hole in the wall of the ceiling and to this day (4/14/2009) we still have the hole b/c they claim that they dont have one person on their staff who knows how to put up sheetrock! Its a headache.

There is a construction company onsite. Live Oak Homes who has partnered with Shadowlake Management to do all their construction repair work. If you are renting directly from Shadowlake Management then you need to keep calling Britney to let her know what is going on. Also you need to take pictures and have documentation to prove your point. If you are renting from a home owner it is their responsibility to fix this problem. The management bylaws state that the owner (including Shadowlake Management) has exactly two weeks from a formal letter sent to repair any maintenance issue. You need to get the name of the person who told you they have no one available to repair the drywall and let management know in a letter that if they have not fixed this within two weeks you will contact the BBB and hire an outside contractor to repair it and send them the bill.
