No Place is Perfect

I currently live in RV and have had mixed experiences. While the office staff, mgmt, and maintenance are really responsive and friendly- I have had to make repeat calls about recurring problems.
The appliances are old, the tile around the bathroom tub needs repair, many other repairs have been necessary, and the entire kitchen needs renovation (old cabinets, old flooring) though it's in decent shape.
My main concern (that has me considering moving out) is the abundance of spiders, waterbugs, and lizards! I HATE THESE THINGS and the outside of the building is infested with lizards (during the summer) and I have had to kill more than my share of cockroaches and spiders than I care to say. I always call the office for Orkin to come spray, but I don't see any improvement. I'm used to having to kill one occasionally in ANY apartment, but these things are averaging 2-3/month. I've already killed 2 bugs in the last 3 days, so I hope that's my LIMIT. These pests bother me significantly (though this may be a minimal problem to you)...so like I said, no place is perfect.
I'd like to add that these walls are paper-thin. While lying in bed in the morning, I HONESTLY can hear the entire conversation of kids across the street at the bus stop or people walking to their cars. When I sit in my living room, I hear EVERYTHING my neighbors are saying (in a conversation tone...NOT speaking loudly) if they are outside their apartments (I even hear them dialing their phones and every knock on their door sounds like a knock on mine).
Outside noise sounds like it's in the room with me.
I haven't had any problems with the complex or the surrounding community. There's close proximity to a great shopping center (Wal-Mart Supercenter, etc.) and plenty of places to eat, so the location is pretty good.
The floorplans are great and I love the unique qualities of the loft. It is a little on the small side, but you can't beat the amenities (i.e. washer/dryer, garden tub, not-tiny bathroom, fireplace) for the money.
I'd recommend the place if you don't mind a less than perfect interior and spraying Raid like air freshener.
