You're better off somewhere else From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/4/2005 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005   The Saulet is horribly over-priced. The apartments are small, the grounds are FILTHY, the construction is terrible. In fact, the place is literally falling apart. The management company is currently suing the construction company that built the place b/c the materials they used were so cheap. The place is noisy and the walls are paper thin. The staff is completely incompetent. I still can't figure out what the job of the "concierge" actually entails. Every time I've asked her for help on matters that would normally fall w/in the scope of a concierge's duties, she tells me that she can't help with me. For example, I requested I courtesy call whenever FedEx leaves packages for me at the front office. Nope. Since I'm new in New Orleans, I asked for information about local services and restaurants she directed me to the phone book. I know that the "luxury" of having a concierge is added into the amount of rent that I pay. I once had to call 5 times in order to get maintenance to fix a problem in my apartment. You're better off at one of the luxury buildings in the warehouse district.
