Worse and worse

I've lived at the Saulet for over 4 years and it just keeps getting worse year after year. I had major problem with my A/C unit that took almost a year to get fixed. It was making horrible noises, so loud that I couldn't sleep. Maintainence kept telling me it was supposed to sound like that! I finally approached management with legal papers threatening a lawsuit if they didn't contract out to an independent A/C service. When the independent servicemen showed up they fixed the problem in 10 minutes. It was actually a simple problem, but the saulet's maintainence staff could never figure it out.
Security gates are broken all the time and take forever to be fixed. The parking garage is a deathtrap. People speed through there like its a dragrace.
The place is literally falling apart. And now due to the hurricane its in even worse shape. The management has handled the situation very poorly and many upset residents have left. There were problems with water leakage, mold, rats even before the storm. Just imagine how bad they are now. I held out hoping they would fix the place up, but it is so far gone I don't know if that's possible. As soon as I can find a reasonable alternative, I'm getting out of this hellhole!!
Rent is supposed to go up at least 15% in 2006, making the cheapest apartment almost $1,000. It's not worth it.
