I was told my apartment would be ready on the first. I'm now being told the 15th. Looks like this is their pattern.
I wanted to add to my original review after having seen a bunch of reviews from people complaining about reviewers' "bashing" on the Saulet....
All I would like to say is that it cost me an extra $700 in moving expenses by applying here. I thought I had an apartment in New Orleans set up for my move. Instead I had to stay in hotels for 2 weeks at $50 a night ($50 x 14 = $700 holy crap it was more than $500!!!), while looking for a different apartment since they pushed me back.
As for the leasing staff.... I too thought they were rude, but beyond being rude they knew what I needed, and they took my application fee knowing that they did not have an apartment that met my needs (I needed to move in August 1st).
I am now paying a couple of hundred dollars a month more each month in rent, but I am living in a nicer area (YEY ST CHARLES!!!) right by Tulane's uptown campus, with a great landlord that is very quick to fix anything that is broken, and sticks to her word. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
