I have been in NOLA sence the storm...and when I got here the only place I could find that was gated was Elmwood plantation, AKA Elmwood Ghetto, but it was only temporary place to live. I found HOME when I moved to the Saulet!!! It is beautiful! I got a 1st floor apartment so I have stained concrete floors...big french doors with a big pourch...The Ammentities are endless...they just oped a Subway (infact like 2days ago) right on the property...The security is tight...its almost like living in a compound...which is good considering the crime rate after Katrina...The Property Manager Korie is so helpful as is the staff...well there is one girl...she has her days...They take care of all problems the sameday they are reported...well I mean if they are minor it maybe the next day...but for the most part it is the same day...Like they had forgotten to install a toilet paper holder and I just called and told them and they sent someone right over...I dont know why people have given this place a bad review...and the ones about the apartment move in dates being pushed back are crazy...We had planned on moving in on December 1st but I called on November 5th and asked if we could move in on the 9th Korie put a rush on our apartment and sure enough they had it ready...The price is deff. worth it!!!!
