I lived at the Georgian for almost two years and overall it was a good experiance. The maintenance staff (i.e. Kenny and his overworked assistant) was wonderful but the office staff left quite a bit to be desired. They tried to be helpful but at the same time they would never go out of their way to solve your problems. They would claim their hands were tied by the corporate office but I always felt as if they just didn't want to be bothered. The building is quiet and people are very friendly. The only major drawback is price. I rented a tiny studio for $685 which, if you looked hard enough, you could probably pay for a one bedroom elsewhere. Still, the location can't be beat for Mardi Gras (right on the parade route) and the gated parking was nice too. The apartments are showing their age but are still better maintained than most other New Orleans properties.
