I totally disagree with the above comment. I have been living in the apartment complex snd have not had any major requests or concerns that were not handled in a timely and professional manner. There is a new crew in the office and they have been very nice and professional. They are much more personable and knowledgeable than previous staff. My apartment is great and affordable...lowest in the area. I don't have any complaints and I have been living here since 2008.

The last comment was probably posted by Lee Ann Yates, The very unprofessinal regional manager who doesn't have a clue about managing apartments. I will admit that the new staff is nice but the apartments are a piece of crap. Whoever was over constructin after Katrina did a horrible job puting the apartments back together. I wonder if that was the handy work of Lee Ann also. The half painted buildings tell the story of how clever that person must be. They were probably thinking ( Let's just paint up to the water line, No one will notice.)

These apartments are a crap shoot. I plan on vacating ASAP!!! I tell everyone I know that Southwood Realty properties are trash. Everyone is unprofessional, even the people in the corporate offices. They are scamming unwealthy people out of their money. The half painted buildings, the cracks in the wall, the pests, the nasty tubs, and the mold are all reasons why people should NEVER EVER STAY AT A PROPERTY OWNED BY SOUTHWOOD REALTY!!!

I totally agree with the person who said the Lee Ann wrote that comment. I lived there starting in Oct of 08. The staff was rude, did not get things done when they said, and at one point there wasn't even a manager there. I also agree with the other post who said Lee Ann was unprofessional. Please don't let me get started on that women. I've actually been in the office with her and seen her deal with others that live there. I heard her cursing at someone in the back office and I've also heard her be VERY rude to the girls that work there. Then they got a new staff in the office and that manager was just as bad as Lee Ann. I don't even know how she got the job cause she had no clue what she was doing. The only girl that would help out and was nice was the brown girl with the long hair that sat in the front. Then all of a sudden she was gone. I guess she wasn't messy or hood enough like the rest. And the girls at the other complex where rude and messy too. I had to go there when i first applied and the where so rude. Like, really your trying to be stuck up? Get over yourself. And If i get started on the condition of those raggedy apt I'll b here all day. They painted over the mold, there where pest and rodents and i swear someone's apt got broke into every other day. But hey, I guess u get what you pay for. DO NOT STAY HERE..TRUST ME!!!
