Nice place to visit, but you dont' want to live here

Would not recommend this or any 1st lake property unless you like rent hikes EVERY lease renewal. I lived here for 5 years from late 2001 to late 2006. Come here if your in for a rental rate hike ride. I started at 850 and left when I got a notice it was going to 1200. Come on this place is not worth 1200. I bought a 2100 sq foot nice home and I pay 1249 now. This place was great at first, but you can tell they cheaped at every corner putting the place together. After Aug 2005, the place was the pits. People throw hundreds of cigarette butts everywhere, the people that live here don't put their garbage on the inside of the bin, they throw it on the ground. There is so much trash by the bins you can't even reach the empty bins without stepping over mounds of trash on the ground. The people that live here walk their dogs and don't pick up the dog dodo. You have to stay on the cement path otherwise you will step in poo. Oh, and there was a cocaine/money laundering bust by the FBI in early 2006. The pool is always broken, the pool furniture is old, and the gates are often broken. The tenants who can't find a place to park really close opt to park all over the grass and up in the bushes. The grass is gouged. They also will park in the grass or in the driving lanes where it either makes it difficult to get out of a legitimate parking spot or they ding the mess out of your car getting in/out of theirs. All because they don't want to walk a few feet. Oh, and don't go to management, they don't care. A distant neighbor in an adjacent building told me her direct neighbor couldn't find their keys so they just busted down their door. Then she told me she constantly smells marijuana through the thin walls from the neighbors apt. A neighbor told me her carpet reeked of dog urine when she moved in and they REFUSED to replace the cheap carpet. They steam cleaned it and just made the urine smell that was soaked into the carpet smell even stronger. If they collect a pet deposit and collect pet rent, don't you think when someone moves out this money should be used to replace the carpet at the very least. Nope they just kept the money. Oh, and when I was first moving in they had rented my apartment to someone else a week prior and told me I had to move into another one after I had already changed my address to the first apartment number. And even before that the apartment they wanted me to move in reeked of old smoke. Apparently the person who inhabited it smoked their brains out. Oh, and my walls leaked water when it rained, so I had brown streaks down my bedroom wall.
