This place is great for people who are from out of town and/or people who do not want to be apart of the Bourbon Street crowd. You do not have to deal with any parade traffic. The complex is very large for the area and extremely quiet for the large amount of people that live here. And it is safe especially for being in New Orleans. It is convienently located and you can get out of town to down in the Quarter in about 15 minutes. Everything you need is close by: food, movies, shopping, bars, gym, parks, etc. The only noise problems I have had besides the occasional thud from upstairs are the leaf blowers at 8am every Tuesday, and the fireworks on Friday night during the summer after the AAA baseball stadium. The only reason I am leaving is because I am moving out of state where I have to pay a lot more for a lot less.
