I moved from Magnolia Creek to Willow Creek, due to the lower price. Well I got the lower price, but I also got a crappy apartment. Where do I start' The management team (Phyllis and Ashleigh) are both clueless idiots. I was unable to see my apartment before I moved in because I was told it was being "cleaned" and prepared for me. Well I moved in and needless to say, the apartment was NOT clean. There were dead bugs in the tub, on the kitchen floor, and the counters in the kitchen were unable to be used for 2 days after I moved in (by the way there was tape going across my kitchen entrance with black marker writing stating " do not use countertops until August 03. I moved in on August 1. I guess for 2 days I wasn't allowed to use my counters because instead of new ones, they spray painted them! How delightfully tacky. None of the sinks had stoppers, nor did the tub. The garbage disposal didnot even have a drain cover, so when you used it, the food splattered back at you. The drain in the bathroom sink smelled like sewage everytime you ran water down the drain. The balcony floor was mildewed and moldy. The kitchen walls were greasy and the wallpaper had tears in it. The freezer didn't offer an ice maker or even ice trays. The tiled flooring in the apartment reminded you of living in a college dorm. Cold and impersonal. The air condition broke down 2 times while I lived there. The one time they fixed it was when the evaporation tank was leaking into the apartment below. The maintenance man came in and said he fixed the problem. I looked into the compressor area of the unit and found MY tupperware inside catching leaking water. That was totally inexcuseable.
Management team was unprofessional and dumb. Phyllis was rude and snooty and doesnot know her tenants at all. All she cares about is $. Don't ever ask them for favors because they will not help you out at all. They leave you nasty notes on your door rather than confronting you in person or by phone. Even with 2 managers on property, neither knew what the hell was going on, you might as well have thought they were working in different offices. One said one answer, the other gave you another.
Totally not worth the money... small, dank, dirty apartments with rude management.

I couldn't agree more. I'm stuck at Willow until end of July, but I'm moving out for sure. They did the exact same thing to me! They wouldn't allow us to see our apartment before moving in. They LITERALLY had us signing the lease while they were in there cleaning. So by the time we got in there we really couldn't complain much. There were tons of problems just as you listed and since we had alread signed the lease they got to us when they got to us. And yes..phyllis is extremely rude and impersonal. I can't stand either of them. It honestly is ENTIRELY too expensive for the amount of -------- we have to put up with.
