We reside at Foxborough Cove currently. We are not satisfied with the complex. They have raised rent and the area is becomming more run down. The pool is unuseable because of the green algea growing in it. They will treat it, and clear it up, but the algea dosen't seem to die. It comes back very quickly, and I am afraid that even when the water LOOKS somewhat clear, (you can never see the bottom of the pool), that there are health risks to getting in the water. Children from the surrounding area, not just this complex jump the fence to the pool, and tear up the chairs and things that are around the pool. Our windows have been broken out, and there has been vandalism around here quite regularly. People will come and park in front of your apartment and eat their food, and then throw their trash out for you to pick up. The maintenance crew will leave clipping on your porch, and knocking things over that they don't pick up.

We've had things stolen off of our porch, right in broad daylight when we were home. People don't respect your property here, so if you have valuables, this isn't the place to live. I would suggest checking into the New Westlake Apartments on Buncombe Rd. They are a gated community, and have very nice apartments. They are still close to this area, so if you need something is S. Shreveport, that is what I would recommend. When our lease here is done, that is where we plan to go. They seem to care about their tenets a little more. The area is also WORTH the rent that you pay, unlike here.
