Quail Creek

I've lived here for 6 months, & i haven't had any major problems. the neighborhood is pretty nice & we've had great neighbors. i wouldn't recommend living below anyone, i hear squeaking floors all the time. renovations have been going on since nov. & the place looks alot better, i believe rent is going up for this reason. the best part about our apt. is the view. there's a bayou behind us & lots of trees, so it's pretty serene, it's also very spacious for the price. I also love the wrap-around bathroom, with 2 sinks, a very cool floorplan overall. it's best to get an apt. towards the back, i think the area is quieter & generally better quality back there. i had issues before moving in with having the wrong apt. with no w/d hookups, so we had to take another on short notice & the carpets weren't cleaned. i had problems with roaches coming out of the cracks between the counters & sink but i put roach motels in between there & they've stopped, but i do have problems with ants.
the office staff has improved greatly since i moved in, a whole new crew. i've lived in worse apts. so this experience has been pretty pleasant. parking can be a problem unless you buy a covered spot, but i feel safe coming home at midnight & walking to my apt. overall, i recommend it, i've seen worse!
