Quail Creek

I have lived in QC since 2004, and for the most part I love it. Yes, it has had it's problems, and no I am not saying that every experience has been wonderful, but I do enjoy living here, and couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

The main reason I moved here was because they allowed big dogs (I have a pit bull) and it was gated. Well, the gate has not worked ever since I moved in, and personally I think that the new company should have put money into fixing the gate instead of building the new pool etc.

I am upset that most people that live here (at least around me) that have dogs do not pick up after their dogs. I do pick up after mine, and it really pisses me off to step in someone else's dog's poop when I try to pick up mine. I think the office should crack down a little more on charging people who do not pick up after their dogs, and Amanda, that works in the office should clean up her patio since she lets her dog pee and poop on it all the time. (which if the residents did that we would get in big trouble).

I do agree that someone should proof read their newsletters and leases before the residents get them, but apparently that is not going to happen, and we will have typo's until we move out.

I have had numerous problems with my air conditioner and the maintenance staff has always been friendly and quick to come check on it... they may not get it right the first time, but they will keep coming back until they get it fixed.

I plan on staying here for a while longer, and I would recommend this place to people, as a matter of fact I just referred a friend of mine to move in here, and she loves it.

I have made amazing friends while living here, and I have also had problems with neighbors, but I think that you are going to have problems no matter where you move.

One more issue... I wish people understood that the parking lot in the very back is NOT the place to come have sex and do drugs... but at least the police usually respond pretty quickly if we have a problem with people having sex or doing drugs etc.
