The Staff was frindly, except for the then current manager. I had a 2 bedroom apartment that had stains in the carpet when I move in. I had a deal where I got one month free. The way they worked this out is a little too complicated to go into but it involved "Quail Creek dollars." My maintenance requests were answered only very slowly, if at all. I believe they were under-staffed at the time. They did however leave a note when they did stop by to fix something. My heating and cooling never worked, and repeated requests to have it fixed went unanswered. Finally, a few months before I left, they said there was probably a blockage and they would need to clean it out. They never got to it. There was a gap under my front door. The door stoop and the door did not meet. The door stoop was actually a couple of inches in front of the door. Repeated requests to fix this resulted in their installing gaskets to both sides and the top of the door, but they never fixed the large gap at the bottom. My electric bills, needless to say, was very high. I payed for a covered parking space. Several times people parked in my spot. When I told the office about this, they said that I should call the tow company, it was my right since I payed for the spot. I agree to this statement. I also agree that I could call the tow company myself. However this is their job. Otherwise, why did I pay for the spot. Many of the tenants are younger. I wasn't much older than they, however, my situation was that I was a resident at the hospital, and had very little time for myself. I cherished the little sleep I got which was often inturupted by loud music. Once someone opened her door and hit my car and left a dent. I saw this, and when I confronted her, she denied it. It is a gated community, however the gate never worked, even after they "fixed" it. When I moved out, They charged me $50 out of my deposit. The reson they stated as that the apartment was not clean when I moved out, even though I ran a vacuum cleaner through the apartment and I cleaned the kitchen and bathroom thoroughly. When I tried to dispute this, they told me the manager had left the job and therefore they could not do anything about it. The complex is an OK place. You just have to keep on them to do things. Because of my work schedule and the fact that I was single, I did not have this luxury. The surroundings are very nice. They have luxuries that were very beneficial (I had a washer and dryer in my unit). I have mixed feelings about whether I would recommend this place to others.
