I lived at the Pier Landing for 8 months in 1999. For the price the apartment was decent. The pool was well maintained and the grounds were decent. The tenants were a different matter. I had two neighbors (I was on the corner only next to one other apartment) and both were evicted. The first crew left dirty diapers all over the patio we shared, abandoned a dog inside, and were aparently in a gang (their members wanted to use my patio to gain access to the guns locked inside). All of this wasn't the management's doing of course, but it does show who they will rent to. I have heard their have been murders in the intervening years. Rent with caution.

These apartments need new management. Manager in charge has really aweful reputation hurting not only the property mentioned but the management company as well. The apartments have so so exterior but interiors are not that nice. Really old looking, Dated. Drive around parking lot and view type of vehicles out there and anyone can judge. Its not a high end community for sure. Ask around, Lots of information about these apartments and it is not that good. Lots of activity and action around that community especially between management and a tenant getting pregnant for the tenant. Lot of info around the local water cooler.
