We live in the townhouses at Pier Landing. They are really nice with a spacious living area and nice upstairs bedroom. Everything is very well taken care of and the fireplace is really nice. I think if you have to rent, this is the best option because you don't have any upstairs or downstairs neighbors. It's also good because we have our own access road (with very light traffic) that leads to the main highway. My only complaint would be that we're very close to the Barksdale Airforce Base so you often hear the planes overhead. And we're also a couple of miles from train tracks so you might be disturbed a couple of times by the sounds of trains at night. Other than that the townhouse is the best option for us since we don't have kids and we enjoy the peace, quiet, and slightly more privacy that the townhouses offer.

The apartment community mentioned in this has quiet a bit of issues. The property could be a nice property if new management could be assigned. Alot of activity has taken place with on site management. Apartment complaints and other issues seem to take back burner due to on site manager busy with her relationship with tenant at the time and drama keeping this relationship a secret.While this was a top priorty, Apartments and tenants problems went and noticed. Not very professional. Also, There are only a handful of townhouses and they are a bit dated. Recommendation, Ask around. Apartments need new manager and a little updating wouldnt hurt.
