If your looking for a good starting Communnity then you don't want to come to Laural Parc Apartments (Foirmally Timber Ridge) The staff is cold and incaring. You'll find that if you do have a pet then the area you have for that pet to use facilites is Nasty and dirty. None of your fellow meighbors will clean up after their dogs and the maintence staff just mows over it all. The Maintence itself is slow and unreliable. When we moved in our stove haad been out of order. It took them almost 3 weeks to fix it and when calls were made, empaty promises delievered. You'll also find that if you happen to have some sort of emergency that you'll never be able to contact a Manager after around 3 as the emergency number they give you is the regular number to call for information. The mamager lives on-site but won't tell you where she lives nor five you a number. She'll give you a nice speech when you fill out your lease about how if there are issues you'll be able to get intouch with her 24/7. No matter what the issue. She'll also tell you their 'strict' parking policy in which everyone has one assigned parking spot and if someone is in yours they'll be towed and vica vera. Dependant on what apartment you move into that would be a severe inconvience. As there are marked parking spots and after being here only 2 months I've already have peope in my spot 15 times and had to park practically off site. Tried to call the first time, and you'll just get the average business hour recording and a voicemail. I'm not recommending this to anyone who values a caring and comfortable living situation. I can't wait until my lease is up to move out of this place. oh and if you have children then you DON'T want to move here as many of he tenents are from section 9 housing...which you don't find out until it's to late.
