I am currently a resident at Villa Du Lac in Slidell. If you are looking for a safe, fun, and quality apartment, then this is the one for you. I have lived here for 2 months now and my experiance here has been great. The entire staff is very curtious and will do anything to help you. They will also save you tons of money when you have problems!!! I had a problem with my air conditioning unit and it was not cooling properly for 5-6 days. Most apartments would say they were sorry, but the Villa Du Lac staff compensated me $150 dollars for it! Also, I referred a friend here and they knocked off another $300 for that! What a great staff! Another thing about this place is the fact that it is kept up so well. The landscaping is beautiful (not to mention your backyard is the lake and if you have a boat there is a dock) and it is very common for the pest control man to come. No matter where you are go, there are bugs. It all depends on how sloppy you live, but it at least the Villa Du Lac staff cares enough to have professionals come and take care of it. As far as the inside of the apartment itself, you can expect VERY clean carpet, new microwave/oven, working refridgerator, and all the other goodies. Being able to view the water from your back porch is really nice too. It's very quiet at night here so you don't have to worry about neighbors partying and keeping you up all night. I recommend this apt to anyone. It's a gated community so its safe. The staff is great and WILL help you. It's nice and luxurious for a fair price. What more can you ask for'
