Better off living on the streets.

I've lived in Highland Court Apartements for over a year. I can honestly tell you that my stay here has been the worst experience I've ever had at an apartment complex. As soon as my lease expires, I will be leaving.

Below is a list of problems with Highland Court:

1. The office has posted hours, but they are rarely followed. The "Be Back in 15 Minutes" sign is a permanent fixture on the door.
2. The office managers are complete air-heads. I hate having to call them due to their mind-numbing ignorance. I really am amazed that some humans can be this dumb and survive.
3. Maintenance spends most of their time sitting outside the office smoking. If they are not there, they are nowhere to be found. Don't expect an immediate response if you have problems. Days will go by.
4. There is a large hole in the back drive that is yet to be filled. It has been there since my arrival.
5. Cars are parked all along the curb, causing problems for people trying to back out of the assigned parking spots.
6. There is a criminal element that is growing there. Don't go outside after dark. I've witnessed drugs being sold in broad daylight.
7. Residents let their pets use the bathroom wherever they please. I've stepped in numerous mounds of...well, you get my point.
8. While the mailboxes provided are the normal boxed-type, any mail that will not fit is piled up in a closet inside the office. People expecting packages are able to dig through the piles of mail unwatched. You could just take whatever you wanted to take. Don't have items of value shipped. They might arrive, but you might not get them. Plus, the office is never open, so you'll be lucky to get in anyway.
9. Did I mention the rude, unprofessional staff'''

If you have any intelligence in your body, use it...do not move into these apartments. Repeat: DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS! The owners live in Washington State. They have little to no contact with the goings-ons of the apartments.

Also, the good reviews on this site were probably posted by the staff at Highland Court.
