These apartments are advertised as "Luxury Apartments" unfortunately they do not live up to the name. While they certainly make the units aesthetically pleasing, structurally they are terrible. Most windows have air leaks and hardly close or lock properly. The exterior doors are installed incorrectly and do not close or lock properly (a huge safety hazard). Perhaps one of the most frustrating problems is the fact that you can easily hear the people above you. These units are designed so poorly that anything the upstairs resident does (walk, talk, sneeze etc) you can hear loud and clear. The management could care less, complaining is a waste of breath. I will not be renewing my rental agreement and I urge you never to sign one.

Totally agree, The wost, most SHOTTY construction I have ever seen! It looks as though they wanted to save money and hire the most terrible/cheap contractors out there, or they had about 1 week to build this entire complex.I have never seen such ghetto construction, i'm glad others have picked up on this. Management ahem, leasing agent, just shmoozes his way around to get you in and they don't care about "complaints" from tenants, as long as they are filling up they are happy. Overall, it's just not "luxury" one bit, look closer people!

These reviews where posted by the only competing apartment development in the area. Their vacancy rate is so high, they feel the need to slander their biggest competition in the area. Please notice all the negative postings are from "anonymous". This should tell you enough about the source. If you would like a viewing of this condo quality apartment development, call me, Dan at 781-696-3734 or email at dan@bospremierprop.com. I'd be happy to show you the quality of this complex.

Actually we are all residents and will provide at request phone numbers and you can be more than welcome to come experience the QUALITY carpentry, ahem, our "apt" is 1 month old and many things are coming apart, and you will just love that you can hear every conversation above and below, you won't see or hear either of these issues in a "showing" nice cover-up Dan, but this is all truth....as much as you would like to imagine up other things in your creative brain:) Again, these apartments look good from afar and are FAR FROM GOOD.

Sorry Danny but I am also a tenant and my posting IS real...you are actually the only good thing about Abington Woods because the property does look great outside but unfortunately you didn't do the construction.

There are also allot of shady characters. I moved in thinking it was luxury, instead I felt like I moved into a housing complex. Abington is hell on earth, its old, boring, people are clanish there is nothing to do within a 20 mile radius. Don't even get my started about the comute into Boston, it takes me 3 hrs a day to and from work. I would never, ever, ever. ever move here and anyone who does is making a huge mistake. Turnover is high, oddest thing is the fact that when people move in, they move the next lot in. I am thinking that who ever made this compex has a deal with the government, there are allot of people who don't look like they could afford luxury. Even worse was the fact that one of the people in my building was arrested for drug dealing. This kid used to do it right in front of my widow. Abington woods was the worst 11 months of my life and I am glad to be gone from that ghetto.

Has anyone moved from The Woodlands to The Abington Woods. I am looking for a comparison. Thanks!

all you need to do is read these reviews, you sincerely and whole-heartedly need no review of this trashy place, unfortunately every day that goes by it's reputation gets worse and worse by the people that are moving in and (already) here. I am yet another resident that was checking out these reviews that is concerned enough to let other people know to SERIOUSLY consider whether or not this place is right for them, there are no positives! Yet ANOTHER drug dealer smoking pot RIGHT outside my window while a little girl sucking her thumb and walking her puppy strolled RIGHT past him. ALL WRONG.

Dan - have you ever even been here? I would say who I am however, I am afraid of what management might do to us....though, based on experience, Keith will just ignore us. Once I move out of here, I will list in detail all the incidents that have occurred just to us in the 6 months we have lived here so far. I expect many more issues. Every complaint on here is 100% true. You should come down and knock on our doors and ask us, if you are so concerned. I called maintenance for an emergency situation, and they sat across at their own private barn/garage and NEVER called me back or showed up - I can see them from here. Keith couldn't care less. You charge way too much money for this dump.

I lived at the Abington Woods Apt. for a very short time. 2 days after I moved in I realized I was lied to by the so called management. I needed a bright sunny apartment, and was told it was and got the darkess apt. in the complex. Then was lied to again when I spoke to the so called management and was promised a sunny apartment as soon as one became available. I also was told I could have 2 dogs (small). I gave up one of my beautiful pets because I go by the guidelines I agree to. While walking my 2 remaining small dogs, I saw many people with up to 4 large dogs. My heart was broken having given up my sweet dog. Drug dealing is continuous and open. I am suprised the police haven't busted these people by now. I would never recommend Abington Woods. I also lived at the Woodlands. Things were quite opposite. It was one of my happiest years in an apartment. Great management and maintenance. Sound proof. Bright and Beautiful! So there you have it. Don't move to the Abington Woods if you want serenity move to the Woodland at Abington Station.

Unfortunately this place hasn't gotten any better in the last year since most of these entries were written. Our original manager has moved on from the property, and has been replaced by somebody as equally incompetent. I thought things would get better but unforunately no such luck. The new manager makes no efforts to replace broken items in the buildings, and repeatedly tells tenants that replacement items are on their way but they never arrive. Several of my original neighbors have moved out due to unsatisfactory living conditions and hopefully I will be soon to follow. The shotty construction and lack of maintenance are just the beginning of the list of complaints.

I can sit here and type all the stories IÂ?ve heard and experienced from living at AW but the one thing I will make sure everyone is aware of is Keith, the so call properties manager. IÂ?m a current tenant living at AW and cannot wait to move out when my lease is up! When we first signed the lease, we were told we were getting a month for free and that free month was going to be calculated into our yearly rent. Well come to find out we signed a lease for 24 months on our copy but on KeithÂ?s copy, he put down 26 months so technically the so call 1 month that we get free is tag on to the end of our lease term. Keith is a crook and IÂ?ve never met anyone so manipulating as he is. His line to us was IÂ?ll rub your back and you rub mine, donÂ?t believe it. Like they say they say there is a catch to it. If youÂ?re considering about AB, please donÂ?t. Take my advice and do not put yourself through the headaches and aggravations I went through. If this website was up at the time I was searching for an apartment, I would never have rented from AW. This website came out after I had already signed my lease. As long as Keith is the properties manager, he will try to scam you into a good deal at AW but watch it and donÂ?t be fool like we were!! WeÂ?ve learned from this and we promised that we will not allow Keith to do this to you. Lying and manipulating is what he do best!! NEVER TRUST A CROOK!!

After reviewing what everyone had wrote I am horrified! Can anyone tell me where there is a nice, safe place to live that you cannot hear everyone else?

I've lived at the Woodlands for 3 years. My boyfriend and I started off in a 1 bedroom on the third floor of building 2. We loved it; vaulted ceilings, spacious living, quality bathroom and kitchen. Even though we were next to the train, we got used to the sounds. The Woodlands at Abington Station is the name after all. Anyway, our problems didn't start until we decided to move into a 2 bedroom in a different building... it was dirty and falling apart. We were assured by the leasing agent that everything would be clean and fixed before we moved in. Our first apartment was so great, we trusted management, we had no reason not too! We signed the lease and couldn't wait! A week passed and we began moving our items in. We were distraught... nothing was clean, the carpets were dirty and the master bath had mold and caulking missing missing. We called to see if there were problems or delays and got no response. Called again a week later, left messages to both management and maintenance... still no response. We were sure that we left our old 1 bedroom in much cleaner and better shape than the apartment we just moved into. I quickly learned that maintenance never responds to any calls. We never had to call about anything in our first apartment so we never knew! The leasing agent claims that maintenance is great and "you won't even have to change a light-bulb". Sadly, there maintenance is so bad, during this passed winter when all the snowstorms blew through, they didn't help anyone dig out their cars people were stuck here and had a hell of a time talking to the train too. I had to help some elderly and handicapped dig out their vehicles while one of the maintenance guys rode around on his snow-ski and picked up miniscule falling branches. They do an awful job at plowing, this pet-friendly complex pours corrosive salt everywhere and doesn't dig paths to doggy bag trash. The place turned into dump with dog poo everywhere you stepped. I was livid. I have a dog and I had to carry her to the snow, clean up the droppings and climb over mountains to dispose of it. They certainly don't make things easy but I am a pet-owner and I signed up for that. ADVICE: Don't move here until they clean up their act. You pay a lot for the space and should be able to live comfortably and have a parking spot close to you. The Woodlands need better or more maintenance people to take care of this place, it's falling apart which is a shame because it's only a few years old! We can't wait to get out of here. The longer you stay, the worse you're treated...
