Bad management and bugs

I'm getting out of here as soon as my lease is up. At first this place seemed nice, pretty quiet, nice neighbors, and the apartment was in good condition. This place is falling apart now, the tiles in the bathroom had gaping holes between them. It was reported numerous times, and eventually I had to caulk it myself because there were tons of bugs coming in. Management has only gone downhill, it is so hard to contact them, during business hours! They are so rarely in the office, or they're just not answering. Its very hard to even report a problem. Every time I have seen bugs i report it and am told to catch one, and them they'll call the exterminator. I have caught them and never heard anything again. I have seen more than a few roaches since i've been here. Not little roaches either, massive 1.5" long roaches. And they're response is "catch it and prove its a roach".
The cost of this complex has gone up so dramatically too, and everyone i being over agrees, that this little apartment isn't worth it.
I must have just missed the new carpet when i moved in because its beat up and worn down. The linoleum in the kitchen has big scratches in from before we were here. And the very first day i moved in the peel and stick tiles in the bathroom started to come up. The walls are covered in bumps, from imperfections that have been painted over so many times it looks like stucco.
Its lost its "nice complex" feel. Even the neighbors are quiet, everyone used to know each other. Now everyone stares at the floor, and pretends not to see you.
And if you have a dog, forget it. I get the nastiest looks for having a dog, because they don't "like" them. They probably shouldn't have moved into a complex that advertises "pet friendly".
The noise is a problem as well, any weeknight or weekend your guaranteed to have your room shaking from someones subwoofer. And this can go as late as 1 or 2 in the morning.
The windows are very old too, i had ice buildup on the inside of my windows all winter, about 3/4". Which made it impossible to open the windows, which you need to do as other tenants like to take advantage of the free heat. And most of the year my apartment hits the top of the thermostat, at 85 degrees. And is usually 90 ish.
But in the summer bring your own AC, because the ones provided are a joke. They use more electricity than my whole kitchen, and they dont even do a good job cooling. Make sure you invest in a cover or you'll have a year round breeze.

I am a fellow tenant of Spring Hill Commons and am currently experiencing the same bug problem you have experienced. Please let me know of any tatics you have employed to solve the issue or if the issue has been solved at all in your case. I have had cockroaches more than once and now have a new bug problem. They have exterminated twice but the problem is reoccuring.
