Forget getting out of your "rental agreement".

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2000
My husband and I moved in to Coachlight village apts. in June and when we decided to move to Florida in January we tried to get out of lease. We were informed that it was a rental agreement and that we are obligated to pay for the full year, unless they can find someone else to rent it out. Needless to say, they never found anyone and we paid rent on an empty apartment for 6 months. Read everything you sign carefully! We also could hear the entire conversations of our upstairs neighbors ... just in case privacy is something you are looking for.
