Not sure what all the beefing is about. It's typical student ghetto with decent prices, good amenities, and close to everything. A break in at one of the units every once in a while, a theft here and there, some noise from the bars, but a block from the park, on the best bus lines, 10 minute walk to the T, and dog friendly balances it all out What ya'll bitching about'

Just to update. I moved out of Barrows Place after about 3 years. Folks there let me go month to month before I moved out. And even though I painted a wall deep red with a gold hammer and sickle, and left a hole in one of the walls, I still got my full deposit back quickly. If I hadn't moved out of state, I'd still be living there methinks.
