Spending $14,400 a year at a place where the building management stinks....well you do the math.
It bad enough that they take six months and just as many requests to repair something simple, but they NEVER take responsibility for ANYTHING.
So having no hot water, scalding water, no heat r too much heat is never their problem, just a quirk of the building. Did you know that Boston was the first city to require regulators in the plumbing to prevent scalding' This management obviously doesn't (what's that' Class action').
Example: Early June, temperature at its coolest was about 72 degrees. The heat in my apartment was cranking from when I got home at 5PM till about 5 AM NON STOP. Even with all the windows open and fans blasting, the apartment temperature was close to 100 degrees, instaed of apologizing and saying they would look into it, they responded by saying, "some apartment get warmer than others and I should try turning the radiator valves off."
Gee, I think that was the first thing I tried, second, third...and the 200th thing I tried!
If your looking for a sorry building manager (the top dog), so-so maintained apartments and being awakened at 2 AM ever night from drunken college kids leaving the bars, then for $14,400 a year, this is the place for you!
