You Get What You Give

I have been living here for a few months and love it. The only thing that could use improvement are the people living here. Inconsiderate college kids cause many of the issues I have seen. We live in a college area and since these apartments are huge, cheap and close to all the campuses, it is inevitable that you ll have to deal with noise. Not many of the neighbors seem to be considerate of their noise levels, don t care to pick up flyers that were left on their doors(monthly newsletters and various food places that leave a delivery menu), and don t pick up after themselves in the common laundry area.
The exterior locks on the door have been an issue but this last week they gave out new keys and are installing new locks. As for your personal apartment door, if you feel it s that unsafe buy another lock and have maintenance install it for free. It offers that in your lease.
As for the thin walls complaint, you live in an apartment building what do you expect'! This isn t the Trump Towers. I have found the walls to be similar to other apartment building I have lived in and don t find them to be paper-thin. The most I have heard is my neighbors tv and the opening and closing of their apartment door.
Delivery people DO deliver here. Domino s and Butterfly Chinese & Japanese Restaurant are the 2 places that I have had delivered and I m sure others do as well since they leave delivery menus on the doors.
A breeding ground for drug dealers and addicts, are you kidding me'! If you consider college kids having drinking parties to be dealers and addicts than I agree, otherwise you are insane.
As for the security car, my apartment doesn t face the front of the building so I don t keep track of how many times I have seen it, but I have seen it a few times when I was coming home late at night.
Kids do run around unsupervised; I believe it s called playing outside. If you have an issue with what you see them doing ask them to stop, talk to a parent, or talk to the office. Pretty simple.
I don t live on the first floor, but this is a huge apartment complex. Unfortunately if you open your shades you are going to see people coming in and out of the buildings. If you rented this place for the view you are an idiot.
I m sorry that you ve had a bad experience with maintenance, but I have had the opposite. A couple of weeks ago I had an issue with my refrigerator not keeping things cold enough. I reported it to the office and within 10 minutes maintenance was here. Within 30 minutes I had a new refrigerator.
As for your bug problem, maybe you should clean a bit more. Maintenance has already done 1 precautionary bug spraying since I ve been here, and more are to come.
If you can tolerate living in a reasonably priced, huge apartment with occasionally loud/inconsiderate college kids/neighbors this place is for you. If you are expecting the Trump Towers, look elsewhere.
