Harlow Properties is now Eagle Crest in Amherst.They are still horrible, We have rented from them for 2 1/2 years so far and many many promises of repair and the only things that were ever done where when it was still Harlow by our first manager (we are now on #4) We decided to with hold rent when the manager sharleen did the 6 mo insoection, went over everything again that needed to be repaired and then denyed that we said anything was wrong a month later when we called to see if they were comming to atleast put a lock on our back door(it hasent locked in over 2 years) or atleast fix the windows because they dont open and its starting to get warm out. This company is horrid, they have been unable to rent the other side of the duplex where we are currently living for almost a year and when they show it I will warn the people looking at it, as of todate, these are the repairs we have been begging for while paying them 1125 a month, the leaking roof to be fixed, the tears in the kitchen floor from past tenants to at least be sealed, the shower pipes to be repaired so they no longer slam and bang when someone gets a drink or fluches a toilet while you are in the shower, the holes in the ceilings to be fixed where the screws are holding the whole thing up, the carpet in the livingroom needs replacement due to the bald spots in it from it unraveling, the HUGE crack in the stairway that despite how many times we have repaired it our selves keeps recracking, the lock on the back door, we have had to have a stick in the slider to keep it shut for 2 1/2 years now, the windows that dont open or the wont stay closed( i have 3 small children and have caught them standing on the window sill upstairs with the window wide open in the past) , Screens for the windows that are missing them and for just a little yard maintence other then the mowing they do biweekly. I dont think those are unreasonable yet..... they refuse to do any of it... Think hard and I mean hard before you rent from these people.. and landlords.. unless you want to be labled as a slum lord because you choose this company to manage your property... I would seriously look for another one.... Ohhhh before I go... did I mention they rented the duplex to so many drug heads next door we have now had canabis growing wildly on the property''''' Nice with children around isnt it... 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
