We neaded to leave our apartment before the end of the lease so we signed an early termination agreement with Kamins and they said that, because of all the students arriving for spring, the apartment should be easy to rent and go in 2-3 weeks. I told them to remove the furniture with the security deposit since I couldn't carry it myself.

Two months later the apartment hadn't been emptied or shown ONCE. Patrick stalled till mid Febuary asking me repeatedly if I was sure I wanted him to remove the furniture. After telling him to do it 3 times, he finally agreed.

Weeks later, the furniture was still not removed and I had to drive from New Hampshire and get friends to help me do it.

Then, after being told repeatedly how the apartments are rarely vacant and fill quickly, I was told that it was unlikely our apartment would rent before the end of the lease because of the numerous vacancies.

I referred multiple people to the office with our apartment number and they stalled rerenting it until the very last month of our lease. Now they're trying to sue us for time we weren't even living there.

They're not going to get away with doing this to us and if you find yourself in a similar situation, don't let them get away with doing it to you! There are laws against unfair/dishonest business practices and their company is crooked! x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

Hello- Similar thing happend to me and my roommates. How did you end up dealing with how they charged you for the months you were not there? Please let me know- they are charging us now. Thanks tzolt@student.umass.edu
