I've been dealing with them for two years only because I am a college student and wanted to live somewhere cheap by myself. The first problem I have with them is that they left me a voice message just 5 minutes before their office closed for the day telling me that they'll be bringing in visitors to show the apartment. Sure, my lease will be soon over and I will be leaving, but this is just outrageous. They weren't even asking if I would be okay with it, they just said, "We are letting you know that we will be showing your apartment tomorrow." So, I waited for them to show up the next day to complain about it and guess what they do! I am in the bathroom, and a Kamins staff knocks ONCE at my door and starts using his key to get in. What if I was naked after the shower getting dressed' This happened three or four times. So recently with only 6 weeks left, I installed a small mini-lock, even though it is not legal to do so. Also, during winter, their apartment complexes are the last places in entire Amherst to get plowed. Simply outrageous, and it surprises me that they still manage to stay afloat.
