I happened upon this website and I was shocked to find so many people with an ax to grind. I have lived in Southpoint Apartments for one year and I love it! It is the best value for the money. We have spacious kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms. Our rent is only $415 a month and we get the last month entirely free! Think about it, for $200 more a month, you may get a great pad, but my roommate and I are saving $1500 more than you per year. As for the safety, I have left my wallet in my unlocked car and returned to find it the next morning. I also have had several packages delivered here that were left in the hands of neighbors or left outside my door - all safe. By the way, I have also left my windows open as I leave. The apartment staff has been spectacular to me. I asked them to fix a broken window that my roommate broke and it was fixed in two days. I also asked them to fix a couple of phone jacks and they did that, again no questions asked. As for the local population, there are a lot of minorities here, but I have to say that I would rather have them here than the surburban elitist types writing reviews on this site. My father is a physician, and I have mingled with a few wealthy people who considered themselves better than others and were always trying to one up the other girl "in that dress."
