Ok, for starters...note that the address they advertise for this place is a P.O. Box in Andover, while they are PHYSICALLY IN LAWRENCE. This means you must do all your town voting/post office pickups in the city of Lawrence. Very misleading...

With the exception of a woman named Kate that works in the office, their office staff is very rude. Seldom do they stay until their posted hours, making it difficult to drop by if needed. They are infamous for having the security guard toss letters under your door at 10pm AT NIGHT (after most people have gone to sleep) stating some new policy which was to go into effect the early the next morning. Nothing like short notices...One instance was their new parking policy. The guard gave everyone a memo on a Friday night right before a major snowstorm around 10pm. Most people were either already asleep, GONE for the weekend, or out late and not planning on getting up that early to move their cars around. Twice this winter I had to unearth my car from the snow (and I do mean unearth), as I have to park one of my cars on the street due to "limited" parking and the city plow buries my car. We are a married couple renting a two bedroom apartment...we only are allowed ONE parking space. To make matters worse, my husband broke his leg and couldnt move his car and they sent us a threatening letter saying they would have the car towed away if we didnt move it right off. Bear in mind the car was in the same spot for ONE WEEK. I called and told them what was happening and the lady was extremely rude and unforgiving of the situation and I ended up having to put the car in storage so I wasnt playing the "change the parking spaces" game everyday. My question to them is, why is that Honda Acura by building 489 still buried under a mound of snow from the first major snowstorm, and IM getting the threatening letters' Why havent they been towed off'!

The laundry set-up is a disaster. They have mac-grey cards and it costs 1.50 to wash a load and additional 1.50 to dry. This makes it a total of $3 to do one load of laundry, which isnt so bad except the machine that takes the money only takes 5's, 10's, and 20's!! Seems completely illogical to me that it cant take $1 bills...its especially a rip off since the machine often eats your money and they make you send away for a new card and report the problem to Mac-Grey rather than taking care of it themselves. Its an easy way to not be responsible for what they endorse.

The apartments arent very user friendly, their biggest is 820 square feet with next to no closet space. The vertical blinds are obnoxious when you want to keep the windows open, all they do is clack and you cant take them down because it is against policy. We lived on the 3rd floor and our floors were unbearably creaky, it sounded like you had something stuck to your shoe...I can only imagine what it was like to be the guy living down below us!! The walls are paper thin, we can hear people having sex, kids screeching, doors slamming, people's tv's blaring, and on one occasion someone across from us had a bird that never stopped sqwauking. The dishwasher is a teeny half sized thing, and the fridge is so loud you have to turn up the television to hear anything.

Bottom line...unless you are desperate, or have some sick need to feel screwed out of $1250 a month and not have much to show for it, FIND A BETTER PLACE. They will only wind up aggravating you and making it a stressful place for you to live in. It is reasonable to expect some noise, etc when you move to apt. building, but theirs is just preposterous! I was stuck here for two years because I didnt have much money to spend..now that that has changed and I am getting myself the heck out of here. Do yourself a favor and dont even acknowledge this place.
