Legacy is a really new complex in a town where new construction is very sparse.

Pros:
1) Gym is top notch with very nice equipment, tv's for you to watch and very underutilized-hardly ever see anyone else in there.
2) Right on the bike path so you can ride to Alewife.
3) Has a nice park behind it to relax in. 4) Has underground reserved parking places.
5) Location, location, location - short hop to route 2 or 3, bus right in front to go MBTA station, right in center of town.
6) No fee

Cons:
1) Sound insulation is a little low as I live in a unit facing Mass Ave you can always hear the bus, especially the talking one. Never had problems with noise from neighbors until new ones with 2 small children moved in now hear loud thumps all the time.
2) No parking available for visitors.

Notes (neither good nor bad)*
1) Heating/AC is an extra item that you will be billed for separately each month by the apartment complex itself - there is a minimum amount you must pay even if you do not use it.
