I?ve lived here for three years; it?s better than my last place and looked pretty good at first. Problems started cropping up after my first few weeks and haven?t stopped since. At first management was responsive but now they won?t even return our calls.



We?ve needed several minor repairs (clogged showers, broken shades, door off hinge, etc) but the more major issues take months to get fixed. For example, our AC didn?t work our first two years here; even though we kept calling about it they never fixed it. Then one day, out of the blue months later, we found a note that they had looked at the AC and it needs to be replaced. They never came back and wouldn?t return our calls. For the next year we asked about it once in awhile. After more than a year they finally replaced it with the least expensive model (no big surprise!).



Same thing happened with the tiles in the shower. They started peeling off the walls and no matter how many times we complained it took 8 months for them to repair it. They said it was considered normal wear and tear and was low priority. When they did fix it (8 months later) they did so without telling us (we were on vacation). We came home to find that they had taken EVERY item from our bathroom (towels, TP, toothbrushes, soaps) and put it in our bedroom on the floor! They then retiled but didn?t put in a shade (basement apartment with a window but no shade!) and the water wouldn?t turn on. Turned out the tile damage had been so bad that they had to replace the plumbing too but put in the wrong valves so we had no water when we came home. It?s been 7 months and they still haven?t called us back about this complaint. And now the tiles are peeling off the walls again!



We also have major ant problems every summer and every few weeks we get centipedes. Yuck.



Other than that, the neighbors are usually quiet (except upstairs where they blast the TV). The fixtures are minimal(no framing around the windows for curtains, hollow-core doors and linoleum tiles in the kitchen, etc.). A cra[ppy paint job inside; they painted over pieces of tape stuck to the wall as well as all of the switchplates, etc. Too lazy to do a good job.



For parking we get one spot but every other day someone else parks in our assigned and numbered spot but management can?t/won?t do anything.



Also, they NEVER plow or shovel the sidewalks, the police don?t care and management says we?re the only ones who ever copmplain so we?ll have to wait. We waited and called management and the police but nothing ever happened! They still haven?t shoveled in three years!



Finally, one funny thing that management does, once in awhile they place letters under our door with "amendments" to our lease which is funny because of course they can?t change the lease after we sign it!! They are very unprofessional which is shocking because they own several buildings with hundreds of apartments. They really should try harder!



It?s not the worst place, but it?s far from the best.
