For those of you that do not know about this community, please let me tell you about this area. The apartments are huge in square footage and the complex is located within a scenic wooded area and golfcourse next door with great wildlife. We have a beautiful swimming pool and recently redone tennis / basketball courts. I have lived in Applevillage for 4 years and there has been alot of staffing changes. In these times of change alot of things (basic rules, and grounds) were put on the back burner. The new Manager Ed came along and so did a wonderful young lady named Chelsea. And with their arrival came great improvements. The staff has gone back to pulling the reins to have all of the guidelines that always applied before they arrived back into play. These issues were let go very badly while the complex was going threw many changes. Ed has made it a point to make children s safety and tenants concerns his main priority. Ed and the tenants are working closely to get new play equipment for the playgrounds for the kids. We find that the office staff NOW is very approachable and always willing and wanting to listen to residents concerns and act on them ASAP. Tenants formed an association to work with management for improvements and the Ed and Maintenance have been great. The office staff and Maintenance have worked wonderfully to move forward with any and all concerns that are within the powers of the office staff on site with tenants. Numerous concerns that have been brought to Ed and maintenance Dept. have been fixed within 24 hours of notification. The landscaping is beautiful. From the fresh mulch to all new flowers and bulbs that office staff and tenants planted together. All of the new siding is being put on, and as always the maintenance dept is there as soon as you need them. Ed is planning on having the repaying done for the parking lots started by the end of summer. In closing, when there is change everyone needs to get on the same page together. And that is what has taken place with the office staff. And it is a great feeling. But in living in a close community their is always a few sour apples in the bunch that would rather not have rules or guideline and that is just not possible for everyone to live safely and in harmony together, and those apples will always be negative to any enforcement and guidelines being followed. Having rents on the "outside" being so high in price and the not so "pleasant looking" other public housing complexes in the Beverly area, I would not want to being living any other place other than APPLEVILLAGE and raising my children.

I will vouch for this because my sister had waited almost 3 years for her door to be fixed under old management. Once new management came in they have fixed almost everything wrong with the apartment and the community seems much, much cleaner. You are making Apple Village seem a really nice place to live - kudos to you guys and awesome work you have done!!

I DISAGREE WHOLE HEARTEDLY. SINCE THE NEW MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN AROUND IT TAKES THEM MONTHS UPON MONTHS TO COMPLETE A JOB. DURING THE HOLIDAYS I WAS EMBARASS TO HAVE MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS VISIT. AS SOON AS YOU ENTER THE COMMUNITY YOU SEE JOBS UNDONE. ED, CHELSEA AND THE REST OF THE STAFF ARE DIFFICULT TO SPEAK TO, NEVER AVAILABLE, AND SOMEWHAT INCOMPETENT. THEY ARE ALWAYS SENDING LETTERS BY ACCIDENT, THEIR MEMOS ARE POORLY WRITTEN, AND FRANKLY THEY ARE ALWAYS TOO BUSY TO ADDRESS A SITUATION.
