The apartments walls are so thin you can hear when your neighbours are having se*x (gross!!) and you can hear everything that happens out side, from screaming kids to tenant that fight and swearers in Brod day light.
OH! you can only get to Folly Hill from R128 north, if you are driving south you have to go thought the hassle of getting off the next exit from the south and turn around and take the highway going north every day, 10 min of your time waisted and with the gas prices a nightmare!
The new management are a bunch of blood sucking vampires. never gave us the money promised for a referral.
DO NOT MOVE HERE, you will just waist your money.

I am a former MA resident now living in Louisiana and displaced by Hurricane Rita. I have a Section 8 voucher and want to move back to MA as soon as I can. I just wanted to thank all of the tenants for posting their true feelings about this place because I might have made a terrible mistake had I not stumbled across this site. When I lived in MA, I worked at the old Kings Grant Inn and I remember how many unkind things the hotel workers had to say about the children who lived in the apartment complex behind it. I always thought it was Apple Village they were talking about, but judging from these posts, it must have been Folly Hill. My daughter and I are not the stereotypical Section 8 tenants described in these posts, but I do know the type of people y'all are talking about. Sounds more like the sort you see living in the state projects in Beverly. I looked at one of those BHA places and turned it down flat -- the unit was empty because a murder had been committed there -- and I wouldn't want those people for neighbors, either. But by the same token, I wouldn't want to live next door to people who brutally misjudged us just because we qualified for Federally subsidized housing which is portable for use anywhere in the United States. Again, thanks for scaring me away from Folly Hill!
