Folly Hill is terrible place to live.
We recently moved out of this dump after having lived there for years.
Folly Hill is an aging apartment complex - about 35 years old. The apartment complex is rather rundown & antiquated. The buildings & apartments show their age. Its a 1970 vintage apartment complex.
The grounds are poorly maintained as are the hallways. The place always looks grubby and unkempt. The hallways & laundry rooms are always filthy.
The dogs allowed policy is seriously flawed & is a real health hazard -- many owners are very careless about the proper care of their dogs. Dog feces - everywhere. We even have ddog feces in the entry area in front of our building - totally disgusting.
The office staff is horrible -- they are real DOUCHE BAGS. Very unwilling to be helpful to the tenants. These DOUCHE BAGS are very rude & unpleasant to deal with.
The tenants - very mixed. There are alot of Section 8 welfare tenants ( with lots of unruly kids ) living in this place. The atmosphere is similar to that of an inner city slum.
My neighbors were often very noisy & had no regard for others -- lots of noise. It was not uncommon to hear abusive language & arguing coming out from another apartment.
The apartments themselves were not bad - just old with lots of wear & tear due to age. The fixtures are very cheap & will not stand up well to normal everyday use.
Be very wary about getting your security deposit back - these folks will try to find fault with everything so that they dont have to refund the security deposit.
We would NOT recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
Steer clear & AVOID.

I love it here its very nice quite vry clean common areas respectful people we even had a block party last week very good place to live and feel happy!! |
