We have lived here for 1 year. I'm glad we moved out but it wasn't the worst living experience.

Pros:

The apartments are renovated. The appliances are fairly new. The carpet in our apartment was brand new, which was nice. If you work in the area, it's convenient. Tons of parking. Laundry room was almost always not too busy so I could get laundry done. Maintenance is awesome. When we moved in, they helped us with our couch (which they do NOT get paid to do) and we called once more while we lived here and they came and fixed our problem right away. He's really friendly and nice. Building K - Kendall is in the back and out of our apartment we were looking out into someone else's backyard instead of a parking lot so it was nice and quiet.**

**Now this was until the trailer park trash moved in below us with their white trash friends running in and out of the sliding glass door instead of using the front door. They would scream at their kids all hours of the night and parked their 1984 rusted, multicolor spraypainted pickup truck with the rejection sticker in the window right in front of the apartment, making it look as if we live in the slums. They also played WAAF to the max all hours of the day. Needless to say I couldn't wait to move.

Cons:

If that isn't enough, the walls are paper thin. The kitchen floor is made quickly and cheaply and was falling apart when we left. The paint is cheap and any touch on it or if you hit it lightly (when you're putting up pictures) it leaves a black scrape. Don't know about the sealing they use in the bathroom, but our tub was peeling when we left. If you aren't into diversity, apartment living is not for you. Ethnic meals are cooked all day long. Smells awful and the smell comes into your apartment. Speedbumps are too high, sometimes scrape the bottom of your car if you are going over 5 mph. I wouldn't touch the pool with a 10 ft. pole there are so many dirty neighborhood kids in it. The "gym" contstantly had at least 1 if not 2 machines broken. There are only 4... Someone also broke the handlebars off of the only good exercise bike and broke the key to the treadmill. Now those were the two machines I still considered in working order. But I do hear they are renovating it. They lost my rent check payment one month, but they also paid the fee for me to put a stop payment on the original check with my bank.

The worst con is that you are living in Billerica. It's not a great town and it is not in a good school district. The kids speak as if they are uneducated. Yet you are paying at least $1,100 for a 1 bedroom apt. which is not even 700 sq. ft. It's not Boston, but you are paying Boston prices.

Overall, I would still recommend living here. It wasn't that bad until the hicks moved in.
