I've read some of these reviews and although I can understand (and relate) to what they are talking about, I think it is VERY exagerated. There are aLOT of apartments that are FAR, FAR worst than the Villas. Yes, the maintenance crew can be a little better but so can alot of other apartments and I don't know when having kids live in neighborhood equates it to Section 8. I think there are far more pets in the neighborhood than kids. No body's complaining about that. It's a nice place to live, yes it has its problems but no apartment complex is perfect.

Yes. It can be far worse than that. I also lived there for one year in 2006. I left a long review on Villas and it was not a very good one. But the building was poorly built and the insulation was extremely bad. On the other hand, people living there did not bother me at all whether they are government assisted or not. It is more about how the management and buildings are when you think about a place to live. The management was trying to save expenses here there, but not nasty people. The maintenance crews were not bright at all, which is usual, but they were good people. But the building itself was not good at all. So I stopped renting since then, appreciating what I have here everyday.

On second thought, I totally change my mind. I wrote the first response (which was BEFORE I renewed my lease). Once my lease was renewed and new management took over OMG, it was a nightmare! Everything people are saying is true, the staff is rude, they're not helpful at all, they do come in your apartment unannounced, I had an emergency and the 24-hour line told me to call back the next day. They really don't care about anything but getting that rent check. It's so not worth the headache! Find somewhere better to live, unless you like what I just described! The only thing I don't agree with is the kids being an issue. Older kids (pre-teens and up) have no where to play so them walking around don't bother me as long as they're not messing with other people's things, I'm good with the kiddies.
