Crummy Apartments, Horrible Service

I only lived there for three months, but I can say this is the worst place I have ever lived. There is supposed to be a cleaning crew that cleans your apartment before you move in, but I had to do it all myself because they thought they could wait until the last minute. I spent the whole day cleaning the filthy apartment from top to bottom. There was garbage, cat hair and pee all over. I didn't even want to move my stuff in because it was so dirty. Maintenence is a joke. Most of the doors in the place didn't even have doorknobs and I sent in several requests which were ignored. They'll charge you $45 to unlock your door if you lose a key. Mail is pretty much thrown into the hallway and packages get stolen all the time. Sometimes the thieves would leave the opened package if it's something they didn't want. The apartments are tiny for $1000 a month, everything is outdated and falling apart, the elevator rarely worked and I lived on the 5th floor. Every night I fell asleep to the sound of people screaming and honking their horns, the buildings have mice, and parking is absolutely ridiculous. I'm glad I didn't own a car while I was there. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This must be your first time in the city. I don't know where you got the idea that someone would clean your apartment before you moved in. Did you ever wonder when that would happen? If the previous tenant spends all day moving out on Aug. 31st, and you move in on Sept. 1, then when could a cleaning crew even have the time to clean your apartment? $45 to unlock your door? I hope they DO charge you that money. I don't want my rent going up in the future because you keep losing your keys! My suggestion to you is simple: don't lose your keys. If you do, be thankful that someone will come to help you. Oh, and you're right, there is very little parking here. Welcome to Boston. Don't blame the landlord for the parking situation. The question is, if you live in the heart of the city, why do you need a car?

Welcome to Boston? They are stupid people like you who make this city a renting hell. You should at least check the damn apartment before renting it to the new tenant, don't you think?

HAhaHaHA SatisfiedCustomer29 must be part of Feinberg management. Look at how he shills for them at every negative review. Cleaning apartments before a new tenant moves in is the LAW you idiot. Its idiots like you who spew misinformation and let the property managers of Boston get away with the crapholes they rent.
