I absolutely loved this building at first. However, my apartment was broken into- by someone who busted the door open, even with key entry to the building and my three deadbolts. I didn't have mice for the entire first year I lived here, but once I got them, they won't leave. Nothing helps. The trash dumpster area in the alley behind the buildings is extremely sketchy too. The laundry facilities are unacceptable- so I have my laundry sent out. The electric is really old so I only have 4 outlets in my entire apartment and pull string lights. I get hot water about 75% of the time. And the kid upstairs practices guitar and/or drums as late as 4am (seriously).

That said, the maintenance people have always been good and fixed things quickly and well. Even when something was my/my boyfriend's fault, they fixed it no charge, no questions asked. The location is supreme, and this is the cheapest you're going to find around here. The neighborhood is great and despite all of the aforementioned issues, I would probably stay here due to the price/location if I weren't moving out of the area...

Oh! Regarding the pet policy, they told me definitely no pets no matter what... but I see people with cats and dogs in here all the time- so I'd fight for that if that's a need of yours :)
