This group of apartments is just plain awful. The management company, Joy Realty, while on the surface act professional, truly do not care about the condition of the building...and it shows.

The place is constantly filthy and doesn't get cleaned often enough. You can complain all you want but nothing gets done. At times, there is a thick sheet of black filth lining the floor, especially during the messy winter months. Even if you beg them, they won't come to clean up the building within a reasonable time period.

and did I mention, there are huge rats in the basement. For some reason the geniuses that run the building say you can just leave your trash in the basement hallway. Well the rats are smarter than the building management, because they know that they can get the best dinner in town by visiting the basement of 46 westland ave. So if you want to do your laundry (also in the basement) you better like rats. Isn't this a health code violation or something'

And the noise...the building is across the parking lot that services the symphony. So when the symphony crowd is done with the symphony, they are all in a hurry to get their cars and drive away. So be prepared to hear the honking of hundreds of impatient bostonians trying to exit a garage. Also, Westland ave is really noisy. And not to mention the students that try to play their musical instruments or whatever, or partying all night.

If you're a student willing to live in the student ghetto in a dump, this place might be right for you. But if you're anything beyond a student, STAY AWAY!!!
