This place should be your last resort. I been here 2yrs and only because of Med school. Now that I finish in May, I was more excited about leaving this place then graduating. The doorman are horrible, they are rude and unhelpful. The leasing person has no clue what she's doing. Nothing gets fix, my cable gets cut every other month, its not worth it. I was paying 1175 for a studio, then it went up to 1220. Such a rip off but I got tired of looking so I settled. Don't do it, there's new condos just around the corner with parking, no parking here.

I lived there for a year and let me tell you that the location is nice, close to park, movie, restaurants, but other than that, everything inside is from another era. Across the street is a homeless shelter so imagine loads of males hanging in front of the building to smoke, drink, fight, and pee all over the walls. It always stinks in that little alley where the trash cans and rats hang. My boyfriend and I were walking out of the door and people try to sell us nude pictures, drugs, etc... many many times. The management will try to screw you over big time. My friend from med school referred me to them, she never got her 200 bucks rebate on her apartment as promised. When asked they said they will give it to her when she resign a lease next year. They ask me to renew my lease 6 months after I moved in otherwise they would kick me out at the end of the lease (so it's almost like signing a 2 year contract but without the benefit of stable rent since it went up by 50 bucks per month on the new lease!) I was coerced into renewing my lease, otherwise they would bring people in to look at the apartment when I was not home. They gave me 24h notice before each visit but what good would that make when they come while I was showering? I decided to move out at the end of the 1 year lease. They asked me to find people to take over the lease. I did, and guess what? Not only they charged me $175 penalty for "breaking the new lease" that hasn't started yet. They refuse to clean the apartment because it was a lease take over so I had to pay it out of pocket. Also They kept my deposit!
